Extinction, why do the dinosaurs not exist anymore?  Many scientist have different ideas about the extinction of dinosaurs.  The following are just a few theories, or ideas that some scientist thought of:

The Volcano Theory was that the volcanoes put too much smoke in the sky.  The smoke covered the sun and cooled off the earth.  Dinosaurs could not live in the cold.

Volcanoes also could have  caused global warming which made it much too hot for the dinosaurs and they died.

Comets landed on earth changing the air so the dinosaurs couldn't breath and so they all died.

The great impact theory was that a great asteroid crashed on earth. This made  great fires that covered the earth with  thick smoke .  This  blocked the suns rays long enough for earth  to get so cold that all the plants and dinosaurs died.

A Super Nova is when a star explodes in the sky.  It sends out very harmful radiation that could have killed the dinosaurs.

Global Cooling was another theory.  The climate was changing all over planet earth.  It began to get cold and the plants died which left no food for the herbivores and they died.  The carnivores had no food left to eat so they ate each other until there were non left.  Also it was too cold for the dinosaurs and they died.

Maybe you might have some ideas, or theories of your very own on the extinction of dinosaurs.
