The land  was full of large ferns and trees. 

The trees were soft so the plant eaters could bite into them. 

There was much water around.  It was very hot like summer all year long.

There were many volcanoes all over planet earth.  Earth was very new and cooling off.  Volcanoes erupted all the time.

  Sometimes Lava came out of the volcanoes. 

It was very hot melted rocks from under the earth.

Anything it touched melted.

Earthquakes were all around the world.  Many dinosaurs fell into them.
